Sawyer's problem with Kate is that he's trying too hard. He's the bad boy and he's playing against type, so it makes him seem weak. The bad boy doesn't chase, he lets the bitches come to him.
Kate is all over the place, literally running all over the place, and she needs someone to scare the crap out of her and put her in her place. There are only two men on the island that could accomplish that, I think, and she wouldn't go for either of them. Ben and Locke. But Bater and Later just aren't gonna happen.
As for Jack and Juliet, I think they're a good match. They're both cerebral and they're both manipulators.
I'm a Vokie...I just can't believe the writers have dragged it out this long. We all know that Vincent and the Smoke Monster love each other. Why can't they just get together? Every episode it is like I'm watching Moonlighting with those two!

Jack is THE worst manipulator on the island. He hasn't gotten ONE person on that island to do what he wants them to.
Even Hurley is better at it.
And Juliet is the devil. She will ruin Jack just to get away from Ben, who according to you, wants to have sex with his mother.
I do agree about Sawyer. He is letting the girl break him instead of breaking the girl.
