So who killed Karl and Rousseau? Is Rousseau even dead, since she was only shot once, and as we know, one shot does not make a dead person on this island? Unless it's a knife to the back.
I'd like to think Rousseau will make it through this. She's too bad ass to die this way. And talking with Girvan this morning, I really like his idea of Ben setting it up to have Karl and Rousseau killed. That would leave Alex completely in his care. He's very possessive of his women, so this totally makes sense.
Any thoughts?

Hmmm, maybe.
My first thought was that it was the muscle from the boat. Remember that Frank took the helicopter on another run after landing with Sayid & Desmond (while the toxic gas was being disabled on island).
Gotta say Alex was looking f'n hot in this ep.
Overall, the Michael backstory was slow and plodding. The only really interesting tidbit is the confirmation that the Island CAN manipulate the world off island. I didn't get the bomb gag though. Why would the island use Libby to tell Michael not to blow up a bomb that was never set to blow?
Did you all notice during the teaser for next ep that they ARE counting Aaron as one of the Six?
So lame.
I'm pretty sure that the only people from the freighter who are currently on the island are Miles, Charlotte, and Daniel.
And that Oceanic 6 montage pissed me off so much. I think I literally jumped up and yelled, "What the fuck?!" Aaron should not count, he didn't have a ticket, he wasn't on the flight manifest, and he wasn't a living, air-breathing human being when the plane crashed!
Not cool, Darlton. Not cool.
Oh tell me please, Miss Juliet, what makes you "pretty sure" who is on the island and where did the helicopter go on that run then?
So here is a question, what is the "present" going to be next season?
If the Six get off island in 2004 by season's end, does next season continue in 2004 or jump ahead to the Jack & Kate moment at the airport (in 2008) as the "present"?
Or, if the "present" will be occuring off island in 2004, will the flashforwards be used to show the on island return of the Six in 2008?
It gets tricky doesn't it?
I predict they get off the island this season.
Next season they focus on Oceanic 6 off island and maybe a little story about Locke and the crew on island.
Then the final season every thing hits the fan and get this .... Ben fixes the frozen donkey wheel.......
I concur. They get off the island 108 days after the crash, at the end of this season.
That means next season has to address the Six getting back to the mainland in 2004 (present) and then the Six coming together in 2008 to return to the island and then how do they squeeze in the island?
If the present will be the Six returning to the island in 2008, then the Flashbacks could be How they got back to the island / what happened on the island in their absense, and the Flashforwards could get pretty wild.
My guess is that next year will take place in 2008, with flashbacks to the Oceanic 6 returning to their homes, families, and friends in 2004. Sayid's flashbacks will be how he and Ben hooked up off the island. The final season will be the Oceanic 6 returning to the island for a war with Charles Widmore.
I wonder if Aaron, who will be 4 by the time they get back to the island, will be going with them or staying behind. And does Walt ever go back to the island?
